Questions for Christian Living
Responder Sign-up
Thank you for your interest in being on the responder panel for the Memphis Area Churches "Questions for Christian Living" ministry. This ministry is intended to help MemphisAreaChurches.com visitors find answers to questions about how to better live their lives as Christians.
With that purpose in mind, Memphis Area Churches have concluded that responders need to meet the following criteria:
- You must be a Christian and agree with our essential beliefs.
- You must have some experience, expertise, or knowledge that equips you to answer questions that might appear on the site. Examples include ministers, doctors, lawyers, mental health professionals, educators, financial planners, bankers, and other business leaders. Note: automatic sign up is only available to ministers and representatives of registered churches. All others who wish to sign up will have to follow the instructions which follow.
How our system Works
The Memphis Area Churches "Questions for Christian Living" system is designed to minimize the effort needed to help those in need find helpful answers. Here is how it works.
- After a question is asked, our Moderators will be notified that a question exists. If the question is not appropriate (such as "How do I get my mouse to move faster" or "Why does my car make a noise when I step on the gas"), the Moderator will reject the question and usually let the person who asked it why it was rejected. This will prevent Responders (you) from being bothered with irrelevant questions which waste your time.
- Once the Moderator has cleared a question, each member of the Responder Panel will receive an e-mail telling them that a new question has been posted..
- Anytime after receiving the message, a Responder may click on the link to review all the questions on the site. (Password required.)
- Responders may compose answers in any word processor or may answer directly from the web page. We encourage using a word processor so answers may be easily edited and checked for grammar and spelling. Answers may be "pasted" into the answer tool on the web site.
- Once the Responder hits the "submit" button, his or her answer is automatically added to the web site.
It is that easy!
